I’m a freelance journalist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I love to listen. Whether it’s a jazz record or someone’s life story, it is incredible how the act of listening can transform the hearer and the story teller. As I’ve interviewed people around the world, I’ve seen the immense power that journalists have to serve both their audience and their subjects. The truths and stories I tell can spark conversations and emotions in any audience. My background in ministry gives me a servant’s heart to reach out to the community through storytelling.
